Partnership Program is a free educational presentation provided to the community
(agencies, schools, service clubs, RDC students) that brings "The Face of Schizophrenia" to audiences through the eyes of experts -
the professional, the person with schizophrenia, and family members in order to educate and help reduce the stigma that people with
the illness face every day.
Open Minds Walk & Run is our annual public awareness and fundraising event.
Resource Library contains some excellent in-house resources on Schizophrenia,
Bipolar, and Addictions. We have books, magazines, and videos available to look through and some to loan. Various information
sheets and pamphlets are also available.
Information booths are set up at malls, conventions, schools, etc. on a yearly basis.
This helps to raise our profile within the community, as well as providing information to the public at large about schizophrenia.
We also provide general information on a walk-in basis at our office to anyone who wants it.
Referrals are made to our office, and we in turn receive appropriate referrals within
the health care community. This helps consumers and families, as well as helping to strengthen our partnerships with other
organizations within the community.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ANY OF OUR PROGRAMS/SERVICES OR WOULD LIKE MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT US AT THE OFFICE.
